Our products depict episodes in the history of the struggle by working people for equality, justice and democracy.
We are strong when united and act in a united manner. Trade unions are the concrete expression of this. So too are the many forms of unifying organisations for groups whose oppression is not directly expressed through the worker/employer relationship.
Past Pixels will seek to use suppliers of goods and services which recognise trade unions.
We will avoid suppliers whose current practice is to discourage trade union membership or victimise trade unionists. We will similarly avoid suppliers whose current practice is to not pay the legal minimum wage and/or discriminate on the basis of race, disability, sexual orientation and religious belief.
We would work with others to create a verifiable quality standard for employers who respect trade union organisation.
We welcome comments on how we can further clarify our solidarity statement. We also welcome being notified of suppliers who fail to meet our standards.
