The pennant of North Staffs Pensioners’ Convention
The pennant was designed and made in 2007 by women at ’Young At Heart’ in Weston Coyney, Stoke-on-Trent. It is made using cloth letters over two different materials and sewn onto the main pennant. The edging is gold and blue braid. 88 cm wide and 77 cm high.
The slogan “Us Today, You Tomorrow” originated with the Grey Power Movement in Germany. The pennant is routinely used at rallies and meetings.
