Office Street, Easington Colliery, Co. Durham. August 1984
Pickets gathering in the early morning. In the third week of August 1984 the police, under instruction from the government, made desperate efforts to get at least one miner back to work in every pit. Office Street leads down from Seaside Lane to the pit gate.
On the rear of the card is another picture;
Building a barricade across the entrance to the colliery.
